Any of you catching that Elly De La Cruz wave?? It’s crazy to think that the heights of shortstops range all the way to 6’8” now… Think about that… That is the size of a power forward who is going to dunk it down your throat… But nah… Elly is out here playing baseball at the most difficult position on the field. And yes, 3rd base is probably rougher but the sheer athleticism, range, and arm strength need to be on point to get a runner from deep in the hole.
